@PamelaParesky @PsychRabble @PsychToday @HabitsFreeMind I get the distinction of course. But the principle seems to work more widely: working to grasp why opponents think as they do (even on X) and being open to revision oneself need not be only the province of family dinners, right?

@PamelaParesky @PsychToday @HabitsFreeMind Oh I certainly wasn’t trying to undermine your credibility. I’m genuinely curious because your Twitter style particularly on those two issues seems at odds with your general approach to dialogue & disagreement including this piece, which I appreciate. Apology for any disrespect.

@PamelaParesky @PsychToday @HabitsFreeMind Fair enough. (I don’t find it difficult to imagine - just think you seem to based on your other posts.)

@PamelaParesky @PsychToday @HabitsFreeMind Really appreciate this, thanks. Given your commitments, I wonder: how would you respond if a relative condemned what they saw as Israeli genocide? Believed there is no inherent right to a Jewish state? Supported the encampments or trans women on sports teams? Honest question.
