@NesquikGavin Ensembles follow OPP runs. They are good for pattern and setups. But not much different for individual storms.

Just about perfect for Dc to NYC. High pressure to the west and to the north. That high to the north prevents this storm from moving to far north (keeps it all snow) and also will mostly miss Boston if this were to verify. When we have a high in upstate NY that is when Dc to NYC gets big storms.

I think storm is locked in period. What NOT locked in is Track, and strength of storm. Track determines who gets hit and what type of precip. Strength (Phase) will determine how big this storm is. We know arctic air is in play. Track could be anywhere from over the big cities, up the coast, or out to sea.
