@JonjayNeedham1 I know that you survived and are now thriving, but I am so sorry you had to. Ive no idea if the words of strangers provide any comfort, but I am so sad you and your poor mum didn’t get the support you desperately needed 💔. So easily could have gone the other way. Proud of you x

@katysimpson1998 worth looking at!
Developed with @Kevin__Cahill from @NHSEngland Chief Pharmaceutical Officer's team, we have produced a new rapid improvement guide for optimising discharge medications to improve patient flow

@katysimpson1998 when revisiting, this could be a useful format!
Today, I've been able to leave the ward with 4 Nurse led discharges over the weekend. By doing so, not only can this improve the patient journey, but also empower the team #puttingourpatientsfirst #empowerment #oneteam

@drlynnmccallum @NHSBorders Well said Lynn, we’ve had this conversation in our team too about essential starting conditions for real and lasting change. Include hands on honest/authentic leadership, and kindness and we have you! Thank you for all you do 🙏🏻

Really interesting. This resonates with me. In such a complex dependent system with lots of stakeholders, strategic change programmes often take a while to build momentum and join threads across different parts of the system. What’s the best way to ‘open the box’?
When we design a policy or a change programme without considering the impact on the wider system, we create the equivalent of a sealed box in a highly complex world. Change interventions that come from such a mechanistic view of the world are prone to misfire. Graphic: @voinonen
