I just found out that a novel method—"Expansion in situ genome sequencing" (ExIGS)—could be added to the fabulous omics repertoire. This method combines simultaneous DNA sequencing with super-resolution microscopy! The spectacular results allow the visualization of DNA and protein interactions like never before while keeping the cell's integrity intact! Fascinating!
