It really doesn't take a huge brain to see kaeluc are not related and that in CN trans Kaeya calls Diluc his "义兄" (yixiong), which directly translates to "sworn brother". He never called him "养兄" (adoptive brother or literal 'raised with brother') or even "哥" (older brother)

He doesn’t however use 弟弟 (younger brother), which is interesting. Nobody in China normally introduces themselves as someone’s 兄弟/姐妹 or any title like this. They will usually introduce themselves as so and so’s 哥哥/姐姐/弟弟/妹妹.
