If you are making a bunch of ruffles, sew some fishing line into the edge! This will help the ruffles keep a more bouncy and flowy shape

Every cosplayer that makes their own costume will be unique. And all ways are good ways, screen accurate or creative freedom. But showing off a bunch of cosplayers in a video and pretty much saying "I don't wanna do like this" is not really cool imo.

I wish more cosplay competitions would scrap that usage of more techniques and difficulty of costume rewards higher scoring. If we want the competition scene to be inclusive we can't expect everyone to have access to fully equipped workshops

What are others opinion about cosplay competition judges being in cosplay while judging? When I started competing my opinion was that cosplay judges always should be in a handmade costume to show they were legit. This is not my opinion anymore.
