While this represents an opportunity to enhance safeguarding, it’s vital that parents of autistic pupils who are struggling at school do not face unintended punitive measures because of this register, that make their problems worse. 4/4

Congratulations to our Vice President Susan Tobbell who has received an OBE in the King’s New Year Honours for services to Charity. Susan’s unwavering support makes a meaningful difference and has enabled new employment and education initiatives for autistic young people, creating more opportunities so that they have the chance to thrive and achieve their ambitions. We are so happy she has been acknowledged in this way, and we want to thank her for her dedication.
