Nope, it’s no different, full of conspiracy and nonsense. It’s no longer a constructive place to be so I will be leaving @X and heading to @bluesky where you’ll find my profile - thanks to all of my followers for all of the great times on Twitter 👍🏻
I’ve been away from X recently, taking a break from the platform as a felt it was moving in the wrong direction. However I’m giving it one more go, so will start by sharing some news. The time has come for me to have glasses for reading 🤦♂️🙄 #middleagedParamedic

@TheLeeMcLaren Examples Words mean nothing without action, and people take note of what you do far more than what you say.

@SarahP_Para @TM5006941 Encourage them to practice this on placement, and eventually, in practice. I do not see CN exams often, and it’s really quite important!!

@loddyy24 @TheLeeMcLaren I keep trying to point out that ‘poor’ retention in Ambulance trusts could just be a sign of greater diversification of the profession, and a view that more opportunities are opening for us. That may not be a bad thing. All employers need to work to attract and retain employees

Ambulance trusts and acute hospital sites have well rehearsed plans for large scale and major incidents, but what levels of resilience in systems really exists at times when pressure far outweighs resource? Where would the resource come from, what would stop to achieve it?
Only one in six A&Es in England say they could cope with major incident | Hospitals | The Guardian Yup @LucyGoBag

First question of 2025 - is there a place for X in medical professionals social media activity? The wind feels like it’s dropped out of its sails from maybe 4/5 years ago? Will you be using social media professionally in 2025, and if so, with what purpose in mind? #NewYear2025

@ShaunLintern I suspect most are feeling the strain today and many vehicles will unfortunately be outside ED departments, unable to respond. This is a major factor in services extended response times. There are multiple risk points for patient harm in there though; not just times and numbers
