@winsletts I think Lehmann also talked about Cynthia Ann Parker. At least, something on his book led me down a rabbit hole of (in)famous kidnappings and integrations of white settlers into Native American tribes. Wild.

@winsletts 'Nine Years Among the Indians' by Hermann Lehmann who was captured by an Apache band when he was a kid, and eventually joined the Comanche. They eventually encouraged him to go back to his family, but by then he considered the white folk his enemy. What a life, what a story!
