@AmandaBPerino We used to call places, and ask for people. When mobile phones came, we started calling “pockets”. We overdid it, making phone calls the poster child of cursed synchronous communication. Society bounced back to a point where phone calls are now mostly used to deliver bad news.

I've been getting more reports that folks are showing up to Zoom/Teams interviews w/ real time video deep fakes to alter their face in interviews + using chat bots to answer questions. Attribution is hard, but 1 reason why this could be happening is this:
