Discussing #policy is all that matters to me. If you engage in childish behavior, you've lost me. With $35 trillion of debts and another $90 trillion in unfunded obligations, neither party addresses it or represents me. So here come some thoughts from an independent thinker: 1. We must begin taxing the wealthy as Eisenhower did. Let's change our tax code so that the tax rates are indexed to key economic factors, so that we can bypass all the tax rhetoric of all politicians. 2. We must institute a national consumption tax for W-2 wage earners, give them 100% of their paycheck and tax consumption to fund programs. This too should be indexed on key economic indicators. We must collect revenues from the underground economy. Filing a 1040EZ does not achieve this. This tax would be on all goods and services, and transactions in the stock market. This would decrease the size, cost, and power of the IRS. 3. Limit spending to 96% of tax collections each month, until debt/GDP is brought back into balance. The self adjusting mechanism of indexed taxation would help in this process. Only case where the index is raised about 96% is in the case of war. 4. Relocate many military bases to the borders. This is the primary purpose of our armed forces, is it not? 5. Reinvent government to decrease the cost and size of bureaucracy. No more new departments. 6. Politicians receive no federal pensions, two terms only. Age limit 60 for Presidents, that way they are out at age 68, just like many SS beneficiaries who are forced into SS/MC. 7. Audit all politicians before election, during, and 10 years after office. No more multi-millionaire politicians who claim to the greater good of public service. 8. No ability to engage in securities transactions during office. Spouses and relatives included. 9. Invest in National Water and Hydrogen water grid to ease the cost of floods, fire, and drought. Moving water is energy and let's regenerate our forests for CO2 sequestration. 10. Speed up the immigration process. Birth rates are falling and so many want the dream of being an American. 11. Reinvent our education system. We spend more than any other country and we do not rank in the top 20. Make it more on application based criteria, such as Industrial Arts taught us in the 70's. We have more access to knowledge than at any other time in human history via the internet. 12. Redefine healthcare. We have Illcare. Let's rethink the Presidents council on physical fitness of the 1960's and 1970's. Diet and exercise is the key. We spend more on healthcare than any other nation but our outcomes do not improve. Let's consider an EHR (Earned Health Rebate) sign up for exercise with a certified exercise therapist, then a certified diet therapist, and then certified by a physician. You achieve the goals you get back some of the taxes paid. 13. We must remain energy and mineral independent. NIMBY policies must disappear. You cannot have all that technology you want without mining and processing in other countries. 14. We must keep our key manufacturing needs here. 15. Endowments must disburse 10% annually to aid in the cost of higher education. There are some of us in this nation that have suggestions to improve the pursuit of happiness. To achieve this, we must be independent of government and more self accountable. Politics is not the answer. Add some of your thoughts.

None of us should feel free when the debts are ours. The government does not exist if it cannot tax or create debt upon its citizens.

Recall again the one of the grievances in the Declaration of Independence, "He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance." We have people in need of housing in North Carolina and California. Yet, we are sending billions around the world? How many government agencies do we need? We are $36.2 trillion debt and unfunded programs around $90 trillion. Talk about eating out our substance.

@BasedMikeLee Ask the GAO to audit specifically for fraud. For God's sake stop posting and get into action. Mid-terms are less than two years away.

Audits of the Federal Government are performed. The results are given to the President, Congress and the Secretary of the Treasury. Amazing how Congress can draft an Omnibus spending bill for trillions, but can't read the audit report, which for years has stated we are on an "Unsustainable Fiscal Path." Maybe we should increase the tests of internal controls for fraud. Maybe we should require each member of Congress to sign off that they have read the report, and that during the SOTU the President must address the audit for at least 30 minutes. So @POTUS #DOGE @USCongress what say you?

Border Protection. We cannot rely on Mexico or Canada to protect our borders, this is our responsibility. Move some military bases to the borders and fulfill the purpose of our military. Would decrease some of the agencies there. China's BRI has resulted in a 6,000% increase in Chinese "migration". Venezuela has 500,000 Chinese living there. Wake up sir.
