@RogerMorton11 Very sad news. I've been chatting with Bob up on Staines Res for more years than I can remember, several decades at least. RIP Bob.

I finally managed to see the Little Bunting at Prew's Farm Fields at 1520 this afternoon with @markjleitch It's only taken me two weeks of looking most days. Thanks Mark.

@sferguk Yes okay. This bird was in Prews Farm fields and I was the only person to see it. I saw a message on Whatsapp of a Corn Bunting on the Papercourt Meadows in the afternoon. With the distance between the two sites don't if it would be the same bird. My bird was totally on its own.

After some useful feedback on this bird I must correct the identification of the bird in this photo to Corn Bunting. I think my first at Papercourt since 1982. Many thanks to @surreywallcreep

@birdman_euston @SurreyBirdNews I posted this photo because this bird shows practically no yellow in its plumage. However, note the dark framed ear coverts & pale spot, broad although weak central crown stripe, extensive streaking on the underparts, broad pale tertial edges, white in tail is just about visible.

Still at least 4 Bramblings at Prew's Farm Fields, Send today. All I managed to photograph is this Lesser Redpoll though. There are at least 4 Lesser Redpolls there as well. @SurreyBirdNews

@levelsbirder I believe the 1981 Orphean Warbler on St Marys is now considered an Orphean Warbler species and Western Orphean Warbler is not on the Scilly List.

I was beginning to think I wouldn't see any Whinchats at Papercourt Meadows this year, as I've unable to find any so far. But today there were at least five there. @SurreyBirdNews
