A friend of my mom pleaded with Che for the life of his son, who had been in the military, captured by the Communists, and remained in prison after they won. Che put his hand on the man's shoulder and reassured him that his son would be safe. Che then had the son executed.
Revolutionary Che Guevara was executed on this day in 1967. “The life of a single human being is worth more than all the property of the richest man on earth.”
