The Payola in country music, in the airwaves, in some of the labels ownership of streaming services is the undercurrent of so much corruption in the industry. I’ve seen videos of warehouses of phones streaming music, I’ve understood the monopoly for a long time, and these are the barriers that exist between good art for consumption and good art for purchase. Yet another industry where the people should be allowed to hear what’s actually popular and good, not what’s been bought and paid for. Love this @MarshaBlackburn @BrendanCarrFCC
