@KnightOfStewjon Right but this isn't "the most realistic combat ever" various games have done it more convincingly and managed to have clear telegraphs. I feel no sense of danger from this clip, regardless of its realism, and that's the real problem.

Any normal person who reads this scene is going to think that Wrangel is a villain. This scene was not meant to evoke Luke Skywalker type heroism, it is meant to be a ruthless execution scene. A promise to the reader of violence and and cruelty.

@Riilu_ I do like a few anime, Redline included, but I miss western flavor. Western animation is now plagued with homage to anime on top of being reduced to sparkling pedo sludge I'm a little sick of it.
