I used to think I was too stupid to understand crypto jargon even after working in the space for years. Then I realized that I know more about certain things (social skills, how to talk to people, responsibilities) than the 18 y/o devs who don't shower. find your power 💪

As an industry, we need to normalize being normal human beings. As someone who wants kids, it sometimes scares me to think that I'd have to choose between having a family and having a Web3 career with impact. Thanks @clairekart for speaking the truth🫶

I have two toddlers (3.5, 2), and I work in crypto. I get asked a lot about how I do this, and it comes from fellow parents, and people without kids. I like to tell it how it is, so here goes: 1. Au pair - our au pair lives with us. She’s a part of our family and does so much. She travels with us. 2. My mom - my mom lives with us. 5 years ago, tbh, I couldn’t imagine asking my mom to come live with me. We love each other, but our relationship was never very easy. You have kids, and things change. My mom helps with groceries, cooking, childcare, and fun activities with the kids on weekends. She’s the best grandma. Our relationship had evolved a lot. 3. Housekeeper - the same woman has been cleaning house for us for 10 years. Now that I have two kids, she comes twice a week. I know that seems crazy, but it’s the only way my house isn’t a total wreck. I work from home so keeping the house tidy is needed for me. There are still toys everywhere. 4. My in-laws - my in laws live overseas, we spend each summer with them. They contribute so much to my kids’ lives. They do a ton of fun stuff with them, teach them things, involve them in their daily lives, and host them when I travel for work. 6. My brother - he’s the best uncle and takes my kids to the park on the weekend so I can rest, see a friend, exercise, run an errand. 6. My sister and brother in law - helped me so much when I was very pregnant with my second and had a 17m old. There were lots of sleep overs before and after my second was born so I could sleep or be with the baby. 7. My husband - he’s also focused on his career, he’s a seed stage founder, but he’s 50/50 with me on the kids. It’s been this way since day 1. I feel lucky, but real talk, they are OUR children. This is the way it should be but very few women I know have this level of partnership. My husband is a gem of a man and I’m lucky to have him. Im super lucky, in that I feel like I ‘have it all’, but the truth behind what you see is there is a team of people helping me get it done. You might read this and judge me - that’s fine. But if one person reads this and it normalizes something for them, or they feel less bad about being exhausted, or skipping a work trip, then I’m happy. Btw, I’m still exhausted a lot of the time. Sincerely, 41 year old exhausted mother of 2 toddlers

If you are building blockchains, you need to use the blockchains.

RT @tenprotocol: I tried explaining TEEs to my friend. They just said 'so it's like Fort Knox for code?' They're not wrong.

@blueclarityone You are without a doubt one of the very best marketers in this space, I know it's a massive team effort but in my mind you ARE Joe (heck, you are AVAX). I have learned so much from you over the years and I'm so stoked to see where you end up next! 🫡

@0xNairolf So appchains or more like clusters of chains handling one set of use cases? sounds like @cosmos was right?

Not a Hot Take: Chain abstraction is the future of ETH (and probably every other chain).

So we get @unichain, @LC, @OndoFinance's L1 announced in a short time period and I'm pretty sure we'll get a few more chains launched/announced before @EthereumDenver. Makes me think that Cosmos was onto something...
