By way of example, I once spent a lot more time than should be necessary trying to convince military folk that “complex maritime domain” would be better as “sea” in website copy.
We should "actively constrain in a cyber domain to protect critical national infrastructure in the maritime domain."

3. Use plain English, not military language. Communicating clearly is a skill, you’re aiming for a reading age of about 11. Ideally get someone to check it for you as sometimes military language is so engrained we don’t even know we are using it.

1. A media plan ≠ a communications plan.
2. No separate digital comms plan. It’s part of the comms plan.
3. Think social media strategy, not social media accounts.
4. There’s no such thing as the general public. It’s not an audience choice.
