It’s VERY pretty, but most visually impressive for me is either RDR2 or Ori and the will of the will of the wisps. Every frame of those games are like a painting. Horizon is gorgeous, but each frame doesn’t evoke that same soul.

I mean, obviously, just my opinion…but I don’t actually agree that Max is “worthy” of being champion either. Some of his driving and behavior, particularly towards the end of the season, was deplorable enough to overshadow the many spectacular performances he did have.

This obsession with every project needing to be diverse to some extent or other is beyond tiresome. It’s perfectly ok to have movies with all white leads, just as it would be perfectly ok to have movies with all black leads. Same goes for any race.

I’ve watched F1 since I was like 5, and loved it the entire way. The ups, the downs. The best F1 races are some of the absolute greatest thrill you can have watching sport. But I won’t give my time or money to any sport that will stand for what happened in AD.

You did not bounce off the game cus of stuff like that. I’ve played like 600 matches of this game, and ran into an obvious cheater a grand total of one time so far. It’s not exactly a common occurrence.
That said, I do agree that 343 should give players a choice on crossplay.

Yea, I tend to agree. We don’t need a humanizing origin and/or anti-hero angle for every antagonist ever put on screen. Sometimes it’s fun to just see the protagonists overcome total evil. And of all the evil people to turn into a “feminist icon,” why the previous puppy killer?

It’s not just that. Merc has been consistently viewed as villains by F1 fans for years. It’s easy to pick on them. Ferrari are Motorsport royalty. No other car brand has a fan base like them. You start shit talking Ferrari…you’re gonna really go through a grinder of backlash lol

It’s total nonsense, honestly. We’ve seen multiple indie devs speak out both publicly, and anonymously, about their games getting better exposure, and performing better on Xbox than they do on PS, where their games tend to get drowned out.

Yea, sorry, but no thanks. Tom Holland is a perfect Peter Parker…but he’s not Nathan Drake. Just in general, I honestly don’t see him as a movie star. Only my opinion, of course, but I just don’t think he’s got the charisma to carry a movie.

Could not disagree with that first part more strongly. Should you spend several hours figuring out what to do? No. That’s bad design. But it’s soooo refreshing when a game actually respects you enough to not lead you everywhere by hand.

Xbox isn’t gonna outsell PS. It’s far too ingrained in people’s minds that PS is the go to gaming system. It’s been that way for too long for Xbox to just suddenly start winning out. They’ll have a good gen, and increase their market share, but outselling PS is fantasy.

Write “smaller,” more personal stories. Everything doesn’t need to be a quest for the fate of the world/universe. Critically, if the story DOESN’T revolve around the fate of all things, there’s more freedom for the player to make real choices that alter said story.

It’s all about the fun factor and content or storytelling richness packed into that playtime. There are 20-40 hours games stretched out into 100+ hour games. That’s no good. But a game that can actually justify that time in a meaningful way? That’s amazing.

Breaking: The UK CMA has updated its provisional findings; the Microsoft & Activision Blizzard merger will not result in a substantial lessening of competition in relation to console gaming in the UK.
This is a major step towards closing the acquisition.

Not hard to see why. Last year was all CGI, outside of Halo (which obviously had its issues). People wanna see some actual new gen showpieces, not a trailer that has nothing to do with gameplay, and a title. It’s not too much to ask for that MS delivers something of substance.

Sea of Thieves is literally the biggest, most popular game they ever made. And it’s not even remotely close. Does it “echo” Banjo, or Conker? No. But it’s been played my more people, and made more money than probably just about every other game they’ve ever made combined.

I don’t understand this either. Keep seeing this statements about how RB/Max did nothing wrong, so they shouldn’t be punished…but it’s not about them. As it stands, the FIA is punishing Lewis for THEIR fuck up. Correcting this manipulation does not equate to punishing Max.

I both agree, and disagree. Yes, if the game is good, it’s good. Celebrate that. Don’t focus too much on what it isn’t. That said, it’s perfectly valid to point out, and perhaps at times lament, when a game changes - or even loses - it’s identity. People become fans for a reason.

I think the movie Riddler was fantastic, but the one thing that certainly can be held against the portrayal, is that it’s not particularly comics accurate. In that regard, Gotham certainly has a “better” Riddler. I personally loved the take, however.
