So today I visited the hotel where I worked last year, I was invited to have lunch with one of the owners and nearly all family members and staff came and said hello and how much the guests miss me. I didn’t even know it was possible to feel this happy!

Jamal himself and also @nickekabamba Came back to Hampton to collect awards one game. After finding out about my auld fellas illness, they both sat talking with him for 15/20 before kick off. This amongst other things, makes them two of the best people at Hampton in recent years.

Played my first competitive game of cricket in 5 years today! Horrible conditions, a loss by a fair margin, and pumped for over 20 runs off my 2 overs, but Christ it’s good to play the sport again! Up the @HamptonhillCC.

Austria mate you've been incredible. I've fallen in love with a new country, village, sport, lager and food. I've smiled more this week than I have all year. 24 hours in Salzburg and then it's all over & back to normality. I'll 100% be back. Haven't even missed football. .

22 Hours of travel in 48 hours, all for 90 minutes of football! And I’d do it again in a heartbeat! @AustriaSalzburg put on a great show and made it 4 wins from the last 4 games, to finish 3rd in the WestLiga.
