Anton Harapi was an Albanian Franciscan friar, educator, lecturer, publicist, and political figure during World War II. In the first years of the communist regime in Albania, he was executed by communist bandits for collaborating with the Axis powers.
Rauf Fico (1881-1944) was an Albanian diplomat and politician. As ambassador he served in Yugoslavia, Greece and finally Germany. In Germany his reputation garnered admiration by Hitler whom it is quoted to have said that "(Rauf) Fico is a great diplomat from a small country."

Albanian Fascists Go on Fighting.
The Germans surrendered in 1945, but the remnants of the Kosovo Albanian Nazi and fascist groups continued fighting the Yugoslav government for six years, with a major rebellion from 1945 to 1948 in the Drenica region.
