@cst7194 Thanks for the links to these papers! I would still put them in granular material - the term is pretty broad and some viscoelastic response is also observed in granular material with biocohesion (EPS)

@cst7194 e CCGMs are actually inspired by this recipe: but with less coating on the particles. Mad Mattr’s rheology is likely even more complex, probably involving some viscoelastic response, given its pinch-off behavior (a good undergrad project!)

@umdme @UMD_CHBE And the most important: this was led by @ramsudhirsharma ! Some of his cool projects are already published: erosion of cohesive grains and collapse

Looking forward to present our work on transport of particles in porous media at the Traffic and Granular Flow conference. Big thanks to @aapahlavan for the stunning illustration from his paper: - great way to motivate studying transport in porous media!

If you are at the @apsfluiddynamic meeting in SLC come join this morning to hear about a sticky problem: the clogging of suspensions! I will be giving an invited talk at 11:05 am in Hall 3, trying to share the work done by our group in this topic over the past few years

Here is the lineup of talks from our group and collaborators for the @apsfluiddynamic Meeting this year. More fluid dynamics, granular media, suspensions, and clogging coming!

@WangxsNB @apsfluiddynamic @umdme @ClarkSchool @PMMH_lab @Polytechnique @d_Alembert_ Thanks! I guess you can but it would be challenging to reach such high Weber number in 3D simulation (axisymetry cannot be assumed here).
