Glad I exited good Nos of LT HDFC Bank shares. Made a complete exit of few tax saving MFs I have been holding for many years. I wish I could offload more of my Indian stock holding. I saw the bear zone in December, it was inevitable with the slowing economy #stockmarketcrash

Narundra Mudi ji promised to clean Yamuna the same way he promised to clean Maa Gange. I have not seen a big liar than this man.
Heard from senior citizens of Delhi that there used to a Boat Club and boating competitions on the River Yamuna. Heard from them that they used to cut classes from Delhi University and go swimming in the river. Never thought that this would happen in my lifetime. Today the PM has promised to clean this sacred river. Dare we hope that in a few years we will get a beautiful riverfront like many other cities in India. We are a river valley civilisation, we venerate our rivers, what better time than during the Mahakumbh to pledge to ourselves to do our bit in whatever way we can to help clean our rivers.

I heard Lex's podcast are 2 hours long, if that's the case I guess it will take our Vishwaguru at least two days to record this scripted podcast.
Narendra Modi is one of the most fascinating human beings I have ever studied. I can't wait to talk to him on podcast for several hours in a few weeks. On top of the complex, deep history of India, and his role in it, just the human side of Modi is really interesting. For example, he has often done multi-day fasts (9+ days š¤Æ) for spiritual reasons. I fast often as well. So I'll do a 48-72 hour fast once I arrive to India before talking to him. It's a good opportunity to meditate, and to reflect on how incredibly lucky I am to be alive, to have the weird brain that sees so much beauty in the world even though I've increasingly seen a lot of the darker sides of human nature. And most of all... To reflect on how lucky I am to have so much love in my life. Alright, enough procrastinating, back to reading š¤£
