Have just spoken to Michael McNab in recovery in Waikato Hospital from today's nasty fall.
X-rays have cleared him of any fractures but he's nursing a sore back.

Absolute star. Had the privilege of doing his rides for several seasons, landing five g1s and a premiership. He would certainly have become NZ's first jockey to ride 200 winners had he not fallen off a cliff while pighunting. He was 173 wins with 2-1/2 months of the season left.
