REPOST : I just tweaked the cs2video.txt file so people with lower end pcs can have a great fps boost on the game.
It seems that even when you put low settings on cs2 it doesn't register the gpu,cpu and mem level and other settings.

This is the error (nvlddmkm gpuid 100) linked to the crash

experienced.
The 5 or 6 crashes that occured had the same event log with the nvlddmkm gpuid 100 error.
This caused an alt tab bug where you'll find yourself unable to rejoin the game.

I just did some tests on an offline and online server and i have noticed that cl_updaterate is set to 20 by default.
You can actually change the value for 128 or whatever while you are still on the server ( i recommend that u disconnect to do

First of all i noticed that Vulkan gives better latency and a smoother gameplay (at least for me) and it’s insane 🛩️
There is a way to have black bars on CS2, you just need to add -vulkan to the launch options and edit your scaling in nvidia as usual !

Since then with newer drivers you couldn't access the feature or it was blocked by a NVAPI error.
I just made this possible again by editing the nvpi's reference.xml file.

You should update your bios since a lot of motherboard manufacturers dropped a new bios version with the intel baseline profile that follows intel recommandations for power limits.

UPDATE ABOUT INTEL 13TH 14TH GEN INSTABILITIES :
Motherboards manufacturers dropped bios updates with intel baseline profiles that are still unstable to this day with unstable load lines, high voltages or wrong parameters depending on the brand.

it appears the file doesn't work if you don't put your device id on the new file.
so go ahead and look for you cs2video.txt file and copy your device id, then put it on the new file you ve just downloaded.

ok so we tried some things but could only be fixed by two things :
- use islc with timer resolution to keep fps stable but fejtz won't be able to use it on lan and the feeling will be different
- lock the fps at 400 fps on nvidia 3D settings

exactly ! with old gpus the diff was way higher, i used to do it since 1.6 on my 240HZ CRT and it made a huge diff.
now gpus caught up with scaling so the difference is not that big anymore but if you want the lowest delay possible, display is the way to go !

anti lag and anti lag + are basically the answers from AMD to NVIDIA reflex
ANTI LAG = NVIDIA REFLEX ON
ANTI LAG + = NVIDIA REFLEX ON + BOOST
not every game is supporting anti lag + for now !
