1) the USAF has been trying to get rid of them because they are wholly unsuitable for modern peer conflict if you want a base mark of how a comparable aircraft is performing look at the SU25 in Ukraine reduced to lobbing dumb rockets behind enemy lines.

if you think the 30mm is the A10s strong point then i have a bridge to sell you. its CEP is 12m thats the size of a bus and it cant even penetrate T72 armour almost all of the A10s tank kills came from AGM65s which multiple other platforms can use to a better effect
