It’s so hard to let go and let your juniors do a bedside procedure by themselves while you supervise. But when they do and succeed, the sensation is wonderful. So proud.

Everyone should try to get themselves on a guidelines committee at least once in their careers, because people usually only see the finished product, and they aren’t aware of the enormous amount of jockeying and uncertainty that go into almost all guidelines.
