In the last 24hr, @AmnestyNigeria has tweeted 15 times on #LekkiTollGateProtest . Strangely, there's no single tweet on the killings of northerners in Ibadan. Nothing explains this media blackout than deep-seated hatred of the other. This is shameful and disgraceful.

PMB has made it difficult for some of us who promoted his candidacy to support him as a result of his lack of empathy, insensitivity and indifference to peoples' plight and misery. I feel pained that I contributed to the election and promotion of this government. Sad! 😒

Northern Nigeria needs honest soul-searching. BH, Banditry&Kidnappings are symptoms of a failed society. The task is to unmask the not-so-hidden dysfunctions of our institutions: education, economy, social cohesion, family, religion, name it. Almost everything is in disarray.

Buhari-led government has FAILED in its most basic responsibility: security. Any government that fails at this is no government at all. 43 farmers slaughtered and no security chief will be sacked for the glaring incompetence & negligence. Allah Ya Isa. 😭😭 #ZabarmariMassacre
