I had a great time talking with @LucasESchaefer about his book. check it out @LAReviewofBooks
“I want to grapple with the core questions facing the country, and if you’re going to write about identity, you’re going to be writing outside your experience. You can’t be everyone.” @AdamStraus29 interviews @LucasESchaefer about “The Slip.” https://t.co/M1cHacHHcp

First review is in, and it’s a good one. Thanks to @AdamStraus29 for reading so thoughtfully.
"Beck’s central argument is that our current moment, in all its horror, can best be explained by the militarism, xenophobia, and impunity that the War on Terror helped unleash." @AdamStraus29 reviews "Homeland." https://t.co/8ZMdwCd8wR

my thoughts on "Homeland" by @Richard__Beck. should be required reading for every American, and will be especially poignant for any veterans looking to make some sense of the last 20+ years. can't recommend it highly enough @LAReviewofBooks

Special energy feels about right to describe this gem from @AdamStraus29. Love the way it subverts expectations and has such a clear sense of message; a wonderful rhythm to the writing.
today's @AdamStraus29 story has big HAD energy AND feels a little unlike a submission I'd read before. feels like a special one. "once upon a time, there was a war. first the bad guys were bad, then the good guys were good, then the good guys were bad…" https://t.co/x3Obcbz2Xy

So honored to have a short story up on @JoylandMagazine today. It is about the spa. I wrote this story fueled by a fervent desire to inform the masses that the inventor of Pilates was a guy named Joe Pilates…I rly hope this helps 😮💨🫶💆♀️
"The jet of hot water shoved my skin as far out of the way as it would go, creating a donut-shape on my upper thigh." New fiction by @tall__spy today on Joyland. https://t.co/CYWiEAGxLm

I wrote this story after a crazy and humbling year teaching in Peru. Thrilled that it found a home in @nashvillereview! Read if you like dancing in discotecas 💃🏽 and drinking on curbs 🍻 https://t.co/Y4OXo7yJiS

By 9:05 on Friday morning, I’m worried. I haven’t seen Roxana in over a week. She’s not the type to skip class. The other students sit restlessly, unfocused. I want to ask Antony, Roxana’s neighbor…

once upon a time, there was a war. first the bad guys were bad, then the good guys were good, then the good guys were bad. this made the bad guys good by negation and the whole thing started over...
