When the last tree has been cut down, the last fish caught, the last river poisoned, only then will we realize that one cannot eat money.

Clears him out of the way for more harassment. He was stepping down anyway. This move could mean something is going to drop this week. Guess we shall see!
Cool story on being a late bloomer and basketball being a marathon: Averaged a couple minutes a game on JV2➡️ being ranked 11th here just 5 spots behind a WI commit! ➡️ college basketball next!
Don’t ever let someone tell you, “you CAN’T do something!”
Too many “AAU” type teams playing as “school” teams! From a development standpoint if you’re one of the better players in the area go challenge yourself to lift others up around you and yes at times carry your team! You’ll be better in the long run!

My guy was not seeing the ball much at this one so he started “snatching boards” and moving without the ball to create as many opportunities as possible! He adjusted as best as possible and got noticed but you guys are 💯 spot on 🎯
@BballCoachMac
The offense being run is too complicated if you need all 5 guys in 7th grade to make it work. Put him with a stronger unit and give him simple instructions! Acknowledge the small victories! Encourage him to stay in front of his guy etc. keep it simple, keep it fun!
Great first varsity bucket! We talk a lot about the advantages of being a late bloomer and learning to “play small” and adapt! Gets to his left and creates space to pull up! Many more to come… 📈
Carter is writing an incredible story! From being the last kid off the bench as a freshman to sitting across from Coach Person (NBA vet) and being assured you are in the rare category of kids that can shoot! We appreciate all the supporters and love all the doubters! 🙏🏼🔥📈
We appreciate all of you retweeting and supporting Carter! He’s definitely drawing next level interest! I’d start tagging people but I’d forget somebody! Like I’ve said, the basketball community is special! Love & appreciation! ❤️🏀

I gotta admit, there’s a lot I like about this shot🤣. Been working hard on footwork for starters. Hands ready, naturally rotates seams in hands! Hand in his face, guide hand comes off nicely, follow thru held, bucket! Keep working kid! 🔥

Still growing/filling out - late bloomer! Can score in a hurry, great court vision and feel for game! Gym rat with clear college ready range/3.7GPA ~ those that know, know! 💎
Pretty cool to get out of the “Local Bubble” w/ a fresh set of eyes on him and they absolutely nailed what his game looks like! Love that both my boys respect the game and play the right way! 🎯🏀📈
When your high school kid wakes you up at 5am to get in the gym it’s just a matter of time and they won’t be able to ignore him! Book it!🏀

2 yrs ago today he hit his first 3 playing up a grade! He’s hit a few since 😉. That day also started a great relationship with Coach

Watching my guys combine for 31 was special! Being ready at any moment is vital! Huge thank you to

for really getting J ready this fall! Thank you to the 6 AM “old guys” at the Y for getting C ready!
@CoachRobinsonWI
thank u for kind words- class act!

@Lakers
1993 playoffs vs suns at the Forum you graciously came over a few steps to shake my hand before I was pushed away by security! Class act and I’ll never forget it! Greatest PG of all time!
Proud of you kid! They didn’t see the countless hours and the early, early mornings! They did see the results! Keep playing with that chip on your shoulder that was put there and continue to prove people wrong! ❤️
About a year ago… J already scoring 6 points vs varsity and C with 25! We had no idea how their paths were about to change over the next 365 but we couldn’t be happier and more proud of them! Get em boys, let’s work!
@egbhoops
Makes sense💯! On a larger scale with only 6% of HS players in your take (1-2% D1) AAU Should be the vehicle for kids to just improve and possibly help their varsity team one day!! Thousands of kids playing each weekend that won’t average 10ppg or even start at their HS!
As we head out and begin our busy AAU season this week I reflect on why we do it: (not for college 💰)
1. Because they love 🏀
2. To spend time together/memories
3. To prepare for high school 🏀

🔥🔥🔥
You might have legit earned a flight ✈️ to NYC 🏙 to play with Freddie’s AAU Team for a weekend! You never know where that orange 🏀 ball will take you and the friends you will make!

Stumbled across this article by chance 1yr ago! Love how it describes how unselfish he is! 1yr later I’d say you could add in shot a high% from 3 at the summer varsity level! Keep working like you do and keep that chip on your shoulder!

I absolutely love it when his teammates figure it out, outside teammate hits the gas knowing “hey I can get the ball and a bucket!”

“Training camp” has been an amazing journey! It’s been great to hear firsthand and see for myself how much he’s improved in a short amount of time! We are forever grateful to those that have made this upcoming season happen, now let’s hoop! 💪🏼🔥📈
