The reasons why this scene is as shit as it is is because of 3 things:
1) Deku NEVER reacts to the apology and literally ruins a big portion of his character.
2) There was NO buildup to this moment at all and kinda came out of fucking nowhere.
3) It does NOTHING for Deku.
