Big thanks to Phil sweet ( South wales premier league referee officer and secretary) for attending our January meeting as a guest speaker, A man of many talents who is a keen author with a new book coming out shortly with one being about the history of the aliance league!

Well done to Cardiff society for taking action following the appalling assault of a match official on Sunday.

@Zoe_D_84 Absolutely spot on! I know perhaps they want to get away from the blue card concept because referees show a yellow card but maybe the icon should be a yellow card with “SB” or “D” initials to signify the difference One to pick up with FAW colleagues

@Zoe_D_84 It appears that you are correct - on further investigation I can see that they appear as yellows and you can only see what they are for when taking a deeper dive through the comet app
