I've not commented on any names thrown around as HC candidates. I won't now either. What I will say is that I believe THE most important trait for a HC is be a an elite leader of men. I also believe that RARE leaders r born not trained. This guy has always been a RARE leader.

Played my last game in 1993 then GA'd for a year. Coached hs ball for a few years. Loved helping my buddy coach his son's youth teams. Tonight I was on a football field with my OWN son, coaching, while he wore gear & did his thing. Waited about 25 years for that one! Blessed✊

For guys my age, Utah is so likeable. Terrible in 70s and 80s. Had some very good years in the 90s under Ron McBride. Nasty wars with BYU. Urban takes them thru the roof using TOs principles, and theyve really been good ever since. Always relying on physicality.
