@RACGPPresident So, are you suggesting that pharmacist prescribing is responsible for the health crisis in the UK? Wow.

No We weren’t consulted on non-prescription supply of nicotine containing vapes through pharmacies. Felt like we were the last to know.

RT @_davidlimbrick: @SenatorJordon Did you actually talk to any pharmacies? Maybe they don’t wanna get fire bombed.

I completely understand the need to ensure passenger safety but the conduct and behaviour of the “gentleman” on the Qantas business class service desk in Canberra at 5pm today was appalling. Nothing can excuse that. When I had to return to the desk to get new boarding passes issued for the flights via Sydney he ignored me and served other patrons before me that clearly had not been waiting as long as I did. I fly every week for business travel and never have I been treated so poorly by an airline. Do better. Lead by example of the so called values you claim to have as a company

Pharmacists like other registered health professionals are required to have professional al indemnity insurance. The professional indemnity insurers will provide cover for certain aspects of a practitioner’s practice to what is deemed within their scope and what duties or tasks they perform. Are doctors questioning the level of indemnity cover for pharmacists? Suitably trained pharmacists will be authorised to prescribe for a specific list of conditions. This is not to the same breadth or extent of doctors. This is. It about pharmacists trying to be doctors. It’s about pharmacists trying to be the best pharmacists they can be for patient care.

@DoverMarian @RuralDoctorsAus Great news and an example where incentives have produced the right outcome for patient health

@DoverMarian @RACGPPresident @VicGovDH The perceived conflict of interest argument is a fascinating one. Does a dentist or an orthopaedic surgeon have a conflict of interest in recommending a procedure that they will receive payment for performing?

@DoverMarian @RACGPPresident @VicGovDH Thanks Marian Sadly there’s enough sickness going around to keep the whole health workforce busy - so we need to work smarter not just harder and health practitioners across the health system working to the top of their scope is part of the solution.

@DoverMarian @RACGPPresident @VicGovDH Sorry Marian - got mistaken between two different threads about different anti virals Pharmacists would follow the same criteria, eligibility and protocols as medical prescribers including the below.

Great to see @LordHeathShaw23 at the G yesterday in a strong win by @CollingwoodFC - in front of a portrait paying tribute to THAT smother in the 2010 GF replay. “He came up behind him like a librarian” #sidebyside #GoPies
