@TheFungi669 I'm sure the Trump administration built the aircraft, hired the employees, and trained them in the past month.

@AnnLesbyPhD That must have been difficult, but you are a strong, independent woman of color. I am not surprised they didn't give you their seats. We have a long way to go.

@RBReich I just can't wait until the military gets audited. A lot of waste on silly socialization programs.

@TheRickWilson Yeah! It's great when the country hates their elected officials! That's what makes a good country. We should just hate everything all the time. That's healthy.

@elonmusk Can we not use the T in charts like these? I suspect that people undervalue the importance of a budget when it is in a point of something.

@farzyness The liberal views that the Democratic party used to have, like equal opportunity, freedom of speech, and supporting the common citizen, are nothing to be ashamed of. The Democrat party is and has not been a liberal party in a long time. Identity politics is not liberalism.

@DemocraticDaisy What about the injured and dead citizens? There is a reason why people say, "Trump derangement syndrome." Grow up.

@MelissaLMRogers @JustinTrudeau Canada is a great country that shouldn't be dependent on anyone. I'm sorry that you are right. It shouldn't be this way.

@covie_93 Hopefully, after we solve the wasteful spending issues, we can more effectively help poor people... Or stop taking them so much so they won't be so poor in the first place.

@Resisting313392 There is a claim that half of Americans hate their country. I wonder where they get that idea?

@seamus_coughlin In a country of the people, by the people, for the people; sometimes the people get what they want. "The people" wanted to crucify Trump, and "The people" want him to lay waste to the government. The selective hearing on the will of the people is baffling.

I would add identity politics to the mix. In the case of the holocaust: Aryan supremacy.
Germany in the 1930s is a cautionary tale about how youthful idealism, love of country, and grievance politics can be combined into a kind of rocket fuel that enables mass murder, brutal war, and the Holocaust a decade later. Never Again is Now. 🇺🇸
