Apocalyptic thinking is a trap. The morbid desire for a spectacular end YOU get to see is escapist fantasy. The modern world is cobbled together from what's left after innumerable past apocalypses. The world will end countless more times before THE end. It is NOT hopeless now.
not to be barbie but how do you guys cope with the growing sense of dread that the world is legitimately going to end in our lifetimes and everything you know and love will collapse into chaos
