Yes we know
#KOSA
passed the Senate now in the words of
@evan_greer
of
@fightfortheftr
this is her message to you “This DOES NOT mean the fight is over. We can still stop or fix
#KOSA
in the House. But it's a crucial time to call your lawmakers.” yeah we have the House Opposing.
So, just to be clear. KOSA does not enjoy "broad bipartisan support". 13% of Congress has endorsed it. There is big bipartisan OPPOSITION from Rick Santorum on R to LGBTQ groups on L. These are CLUES that this bill is NOT the vehicle to solve this problem.
#STOPKOSA
And here is a piece of motivation and a message of Evan which I’m sure that you guys have lying around in your emails so here is the message that will motivate your spirits up and running

@evan_greer
@charmirie
Yeah I agree KOSA is failing so hard because everyone at the House knows it’s unrelated to air travel heck even the chairman knew that this bill is full of shit and cannot be part of a must pass bill
But for those who can’t read this post here is the quote itself
“The Chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee is against it. House leadership is against it. And we're just getting started on building opposition there.”
@bard_jojo
The Chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee is against it. House leadership is against it. And we're just getting started on building opposition there.
Yep the positive message is still there and if you want to really know why
#KOSA
is dead please read
@evan_greer
‘s post and the article by
@fightfortheftr
and this positive message was from the email and I screenshot it just to show the good news!
Sooo I found this email from Evan herself and it’s perfect to motivate more anti
#KOSA
people including those who oppose the bill and have their spirits up and running and here it is
The dangerous censorship bill known as the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) just passed the Senate.
This bill will make kids less safe by giving the government power to dictate what content younger users can see online.
We can still stop it in the House:
Yep like I said before bills like
#KOSA
will start over again back to the beginning after they die out so here is the screenshot that I captured from the email message from
@fightfortheftr
here
And here is a piece of motivation and a message of Evan which I’m sure that you guys have lying around in your emails so here is the message that will motivate your spirits up and running
"I've literally had legislators tell me to my face that they would love to see our website taken off the Internet because they don't want people to have the kinds of vital community resources that we provide,”
@trans_ohio
explains why
#KOSA
is dangerous
Yep to those that are opposing
#KOSA
and
#STOPKOSA
here is the clear truth of why there is strong opposition in the House just look at this post and read it for yourselves
@joellthayer
KOSA has 13% of member sponsors, strong opposition from Left and Right, privacy experts, Constitutional legal scholars. This bill by no means enjoys broad support on or out of tech community…..this the attempted end run.
#OPPOSEKOSA
So, just to be clear. KOSA does not enjoy "broad bipartisan support". 13% of Congress has endorsed it. There is big bipartisan OPPOSITION from Rick Santorum on R to LGBTQ groups on L. These are CLUES that this bill is NOT the vehicle to solve this problem.

BREAKING:
#KOSA
is officially dead in the House.
It's infuriating how much time was wasted on a flawed, unconstitutional & controversial bill that was destined to fail, when we could have passed strong privacy or antitrust
& KOSA will be back. Stay tuned
@Shaquil22723254
@evan_greer
That we don’t know but the wise words of
@moflatley
”KOSA does not enjoy "broad bipartisan support". 13% of Congress has endorsed it. There is big bipartisan OPPOSITION from Rick Santorum on R to LGBTQ groups on L.” yep there is a big bipartisan opposition.

@JadeSweetTooth
and this design looks amazing on its own and it is the best Ben 10 and Fire Emblem Engage illustration based on a story a friend on DA did
Send this link to everyone who doesn't understand why
#KOSA
is bill that makes kids less safe, not more safe
Most people supporting this bill are not actively trying to hurt LGBTQ youth, they've just been misled by opportunistic politicians
Spread facts
In case you’re wondering why KOSA is dead well here is a screenshot that I captured that does say it out loud and clear and it’s from an email from
@fightfortheftr
who confirmed it loud and clear but we have to make sure to keep an eye on it when it comes back!
So I got this from
@EFF
so here is my response to them via screenshot
#KOSA
is already dead
@EFF
as
@evan_greer
of
@fightfortheftr
announced it in August but we will be sharp in case it comes back aka start over again back to the beginning
Yep like I said before bills like

Just want to add, that Frank Pallone isn't the chair of Committee on Energy and Commerce. That would be
Cathy McMorris Rodgers. That being said, I'm not entirely sure how this is going to play out in the House once voting is settled in the Senate 1/?
The good folks of
@reason
were kind enough to run an excerpt of my 📕 a few years ago, but this is what I'd call my Reason debut! Beware of KOSA, the Kids Online Safety Act by
@SenBlumenthal
. There are already great market solutions to kids' use of tech.
