@Regtales25 Had a colleague who genuinely believed his pastor could regrow amputated limbs. I almost started a petition to have him removed from the college.

@_iTrigg @RancheroPeoria @Susieqbeme Not sure about raw milk containing lactase, it's possible it lowers incidence of immune conditions like asthma but so does breast feeding. I'd rather encourage breastfeeding than encourage you to give children unpasteurized milk. If you need probiotics there are safer options.

@Armorize @BaylessBry27409 @RancheroPeoria @Susieqbeme @peterboghossian If you don't believe something, find strong, peer-reviewed evidence against it. Don't simply say it's not true just because YOU don't believe it. It's a very myopic way of looking at life.

@LSchmitt_TAAWTS @BaylessBry27409 @RancheroPeoria @Susieqbeme Of course, I'm in full support of autonomy. However, I also believe misinformation destroys the concept of autonomy, people have the right to make "informed" decisions, so we should ensure they have the right info. There's no need to lie to promote a product.

@BaylessBry27409 @RancheroPeoria @Susieqbeme We've come too far as a society to suddenly go back to "the research must be wrong because it doesn't align with my beliefs or personal experience".

@mind_talkss @DavidHundeyin Not sure it has much to do with 'the people'. More likely a strong, unified ruling elite with an understanding of where they stand in the global order and a strong enough cultural identity to know where their true interests lie.

@RancheroPeoria @Susieqbeme Admittedly, the study did have its limitations, but there's no hard evidence to support your claims. Seems like more risk for very little reward.

@PrecisionClinMe @neuralconsult But if it was a routine follow-up wouldn't something as obvious as this have been noted at previous visits?

@dammiedammie35 1. Survivorship bias, obviously anyone who survived to be a grandpa is...old. 2. A quick glance at our population pyramid will tell you that most old people in this country don't survive.
