I JUST ACHIEVED MY FIRST WGM NORM!!!!!!! 🥹. Right after Sunway Formentera I flew back home to play the last game of the Dutch league. I had to win against a 2200 rated, and I ended up beating a 2300 while being exhausted and sleep-deprived. It doesn’t feel real. I’m so happy 🥹

Finished my tournament in Valencia with 5/9. Really heartbroken with my final 2 losses. My rating is going to be 2199 and I tried so hard not to lose. Unfortunately the pairings weren’t in my favor and I faced very strong players. All in all, super happy I could participate in

@GMHikaru Fide forced an underaged girl today, wearing a jeans, to change. The girl out of emergency took a scarf from her mother&wrapped it around her hips, becoming a sort of “skirt” with naked legs…Last year they weren’t strict to top players, this year at least no one is above rule!.

Reykjavik Open 2024 has ended. It went by so quickly! I finished on 5.5/9 (4 wins, 3 draws, 2 losses), and lost 11 points 💔. Despite losing rating, I’m super happy with how I played! I had some really good games and I can sense that I’ve made a lot of improvement already!

The Olympiad has ended. A beautiful experience, but also one of my worst performances. I still have a lot to learn, both on the board but also psychologically. A small bump in the road but I’m excited to learn from this experience and do better next time. It’s time to work hard.
