This Sunday evening, we honor the incredible story of Dr. Robert Kalyesubula, our founder, who knows firsthand the struggles of being an orphan in Nakaseke. After losing his parents during the Luwero war, Robert’s life could have taken a very different path. But with the care of his aunt and the support of an orphanage, he found hope where there seemed to be none. His determination led him to become a doctor, and more than that, he founded the African Community Center for Social Sustainability (ACCESS) to give back to orphans and vulnerable children in Nakaseke. His journey reminds us that no matter where you start, hope and compassion can light the way forward. @ChefKarim02
