I didn't check my metering or focus, all of a sudden this sucker dropped, lasted for about 15 seconds and then went back up. All my photos were out of focus and overexposed but.... TORNADO, lol. Assiniboia, SK July 4, 2020.

I was able to do a quick edit of the tornado on July 1, 2023 that touched down SSW of Didsbury and ended just east of highway 2 SSE of the location it started. It was a very violent tornado as shown in this photo. This photo was taken just E of Carstairs facing N.

July 31, 1987 - we lived in Evergreen Trailer Park. My Dad was at work while my mother and I were at home, in our trailer. My Mom talks about how humid it was the days leading up to the tornado. I had an opportunity to talk to her about it a few weeks ago. 1/x

1. Calgarians LOVE to speed through construction zones but not so much in regular speed zones.

Missing storm season + a lot of work to do = staying at the office late. Ugggghhhhhhh. This storm was slow moving, dropping lightning and was somewhere in beautiful NM. This was one of my favorite chase days last season.
