another op-ed from Deery claiming that faculty are misinformed about SB 202. no one is misinformed! But now he's shifted to saying that "crosstabs" indicate something in a data set that is publicly unavailable. I'd get laughed out of peer review if I tried that.
saying something over and over again doesn't make it true. it's not good *academic* practice to cite something that no one can verify. we deserve a @PurdueResFound that supports faculty @davebangert

when your policies are terrible, you ban the organizations and departments and groups that call out how terrible you are. it's part of the conservative playbook.

conservative students aren't going into higher education because of their possible professors, they aren't going because conservatives lie about it all the time. IN goes not care about higher edu. they'd fund it more if they did.

it should go without saying that we are disappointed. but the work continues! it always continues...
We are not surprised that SB 202 has passed. And the university propaganda email "Purdue Reaffirmation of Academic Freedom and Faculty Tenure" does not make us feel safer or secure in our jobs. Higher education remains under attack and our only line of defense is organizing.

Another activity for Mental Health Action Week would be for the university to pay its student workers fairly and appropriately
The fifth annual Mental Health Action week is underway on @LifeAtPurdue’s campus. Set for Feb. 26-March 1, the week will feature a series of well-being activities, food, fun and programs highlighting resources available to students.
