Kengo Kuma’s brave addition to the Gulbenkian in Lisbon is inspired by Engawa - a path protected by the eaves of the roof, not entirely inside nor outside, commonly found in traditional Japanese houses - the canopy negotiates the relationship of museum to garden - A2 like this ❤️
