@stephen37292ML Maybe find out who the people are and get them to spray the ‘art’ on each others cars. The underground cars are orange vinyl and will be very difficult to clean without the orange losing its colour. (Hopefully no one tags my subway car #129)

@PhilTonks2 That works fine until you decide you want to replicate your OO scale collection in 12”:1’ scale. I wish I had never been given a Hornby HST as a child in the 1970s.

@_TMsteve 32 years going to Edinburgh, but they were running on the southern part of the ECML in the 1980s. The super powered sets with HST powercar instead DVT and mk3 coaches in the early days are something to remember.

Afternoon spent at @thestorytrain2025 connecting a generator to the 3 phase and waking up the kitchen. Obligatory Pizza cooked in the oven.

@Clinnick1 @My_Metro @stadlerrail Sadly no view out the front or rear for passengers. The old trains have great visibility in all directions. I guess the new plan is for almost everyone to stand up too as there are not many seats.

@mattymidland Looks good. The light grey panels on the roof are unpainted fibreglass to let light into the electrical cubicle area. It’s very dark in there on powercars with a solid painted roof.
