launched in the US. It wasn’t a full launch, Sony released the “First Edition Bundle” a week earlier than the full global launch and it came with Little Deviants. Some of the launch games were also released alongside this early bundle.

firmware has an update for the first time in a couple of years and I see this as a positive thing.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss launched 12 years ago today on

. I loved this game! Sure, the touch controls felt redundant but the game itself was great. An 80% on Metacritic is way too low in my opinion. This was a proper Uncharted game on a handheld and it was brilliant.

With the Killzone servers now shut down, it got me thinking about the other great

games with online functionality removed. Sound Shapes feels particularly annoying because all those user created levels that people worked hard to make are lost forever.
