SAG-AFTRA has released its terms on AI & digital replicas:
• Consent & payment for use, creation & re-use of digital replicas
• Residuals & pay the same as if the actor was actually on-set
• Digital replicas cannot be used to meet the required amount of background actors

Actually, it was filmed with a Mini-DV camera in SD so a DVD is the correct format for this. The BluRay would have to be upscaled so there’s no point! Just grab a DVD on eBay and experience it as it was originally released!
‘28 DAYS LATER’ is not available on any streaming/VOD platform and the Blu-Ray is currently out of print.

It’s very cool but they haven’t seen CGI lately! It would look so much better than this. You can see it’s a miniature by the lack of detail and the scale of the flames. CGI these days can be so invisible that people don’t even notice it anymore!
