reminder to attempt to complete a khatm of the qur'an both during this month (rajab) and the next (sha'ban) in order to implement good habits before ramadan إن شاء الله
few things make a person ugly like a loose tongue. your tongue can completely ruin your good deeds, whether it be backbiting, gossiping, foul language or mentioning the faults of others.
was having a a conversation with my aunty about post ramadan & shaytan's whispers and the idea that if he can't make you commit a sin, he will try to convince you to abandon a good deed instead
such an important reminder. i know the usual advice is to do things in moderation but we should be completely limiting leisure activities and socialising for this month.
for example, making you think that you're doing it to show off or encouraging you to procrastinate and be lazy. so important to fight against him by doing that good deed to maintain the high iman/closeness to Allāh that we worked hard for in ramadan
and just as you are sure that Allāh will recompense you for every bit of wrongdoing others have inflicted upon you, know that it's the same for the wrongdoing you cause others
might be extreme but i cannot get behind people going to tarawih n then roaming around the streets for hours n stuffing their faces. ramadan is not about eating food in abundance or socialising for the 'vibes'.
I was once reciting Sūrat al-Mā’idah, and to my opposite was a boy with special needs, who's a Hāfidh. He started reading along with me, and he was looking around and didn't focus much on his Mushaf. My Mushaf is a little bit different in some pages, and we got to a page where my
if you struggle to respect others and abstain from eating the flesh of your brothers and sisters, at least be selfish enough to safeguard your own deeds from being given to them.
falling into a drug/alcohol addiction must be so scary. it's so easy for us to judge without considering a person's life experiences that led them to that point
if anything, this makes it more dangerous as it's occurrence is regular and the sin is ongoing. the only way to repent is to stop completely, in all aspects. may Allāh make it easier for us all and forgive us.

i hear u. i think when you've built up a huge collection it seems like a waste to stop wearing it n also if ur used to spraying it before leaving the house u can feel a bit incomplete without it (hence the alternative)! may Allah make it easier for us all to abandon 🫶🏼
small but beneficial acts such as increasing our daily portion of qur'an, praying our nafls, increased dhikr etc will allow us to make the most of the month إن شاء الله
the angels on our shoulders don't cease in writing, not even for a moment. we should be more mindful of the way we use social media and the words we use
this is not me condoning addiction but rather understanding possible risk factors and having compassion towards our brothers and sisters experiencing this.
you can feast and interact with loved ones all you want on eid insha Allāh but for now the focus should be on tawbah, qur'an and as much ibadah as we can
just because you think an age gap isn't suitable for you, doesn't mean you should impose that on other people. your feelings should never take precedence over an islamic ruling
friends that always make time for u 💗 and always communicate consistently 💗 and fit u into their busy schedules even if it's just a coffee or a home cooked meal 💗
The Quran directly states that religion should not be forced. Although hijab is encouraged in Islam, no one is allowed to be pressured into compliance.
Forcing hijab only leads to a negative association. And upholding morality doesn't just fall onto the shoulders of women...
