@WUTangKids In case anyone wants to know: -The gas chambers at Auschwitz-Birkenau could murder up to 6,000 people per day. -At Treblinka (smaller than Auschwitz) approximately 800,000 murders took place in just over a year (1942–1943).

@maxim_k @havivrettiggur WFP threatened to stop allowing their aid to be delivered to Yemen because their people were being held hostage. Israel threatened to stop allowing aid to be delivered to Hamas because Hamas is still holding Israeli hostages. Same threat to produce the same outcome.

@maxim_k Do you think that WFP was only threatening to not deliver their aid, but would not have done anything from allowing someone else to deliver WFP's aid? Also, I don't think you know what leverage is.

@maxim_k @havivrettiggur Those are trying to get them to do the same thing using different wording. Asking them to stop misusing the goods is asking them to change their behaviour. The threat of not delivering the goods is the means for changing that behavior in both cases.

@maxim_k @havivrettiggur It’s irrelevant whether the aid belongs to Israel/WFP or not - in both cases they are stopping aid from being delivered. WFP’s ability to stop others’ aid is also irrelevant because they are stopping aid in their control from going in. So they are not fundamentally different.

@maxim_k @havivrettiggur They literally used the aid as leverage since they stopped supplying it in order to get the Houtis to do what they wanted.

@havivrettiggur Correction: the UN World Food Programme (WFP) partially suspended food assistance in areas controlled by the Houthis over issues like food diversion and the lack of agreement on biometric registration systems to ensure aid reached those most in need.

@Leeruian @lethalluz If all you can do is whataboutism instead of addressing the specific issue I raised, then you are either retarded or covering for her (and your) bigotries.
