Well, in better news - I went to this right wing protest in favour of re-settling the Gaza strip, to see what was being said. …no one showed up, except for the organisers.
Tomorrow in TLV there’ll be a rally in favour of re-settling the Gaza Strip. The settler movement are increasing the pressure. The IDF spokesperson said that Palestinians evacuated will be able to return. There *must* be a commitment from the Israeli government on this.

Please listen to those on the ground. I understand why people are focused on Gaza, but if we lose sight of the West Bank it will not only be destroyed, but annexed by violent settlers. This isn’t a side issue it’s the issue. Protect Palestinian communities in the West Bank.

I’ve been protesting against Netanyahu for years. The criticism against @DavidLammy is absurd. If you want a diplomatic resolution to end the war, he has a duty to meet the Israeli government as well as the Palestinian Authority. No resolution will come from ignoring either side.
Today I met with Israeli PM @netanyahu, and Palestinian Authority PM Mustafa. Our message is clear: we need an immediate ceasefire, the immediate release of all hostages, the protection of civilians, unfettered access to aid in Gaza, and a pathway towards a two-state solution.

There have been Israelis in Israel calling for a ceasefire for months. Be it because they want peace or because they want to free the hostages and accept this is the only thing that will return them. I assure you that calling for a ceasefire is not anti-Jewish.

You need to learn to separate Israelis from the Israeli government. In Israel, Israelis calling “bring them home” are begging for a hostage release deal. The government refuses to prioritise the hostages being released.
“Bring Them Home” was always a lie. If Israel really wanted to secure the release of all the hostages, they couldn’t have had a worst strategy. The only way hostages have been released is through a ceasefire. The Israeli military rescued none, and indeed killed several.

On a bus in Israel. Muslim woman in hijab chatting on her phone. No one cares. Israel is not a racist country. It is not an “apartheid” state. There is no ethnic conflict here. From Israel’s perspective the conflict is a political one over land. It’s the other side that is racist.

Maybe Glazer could have worded his statement better, been clearer. But if you’re angry because you mischaracterise or misquote his words - what he *actually* doesn’t even matter. He didn’t refute his Jewishness. He did call out dehumanisation of *both* Israelis & Palestinians.

I regularly make the point that pro-Palestinian protest is legitimate and that showing solidarity with Palestinians is important, and not antisemitic. But when things like this *keep* happening, it’s very difficult to convince Jewish people that these protests aren’t a threat.

Liar. Many victims have testified. You simply are failing to listen. So “believe all women” is only an overreach when it’s Israeli women. I’ve never felt so disgusted and abandoned by the left. Now we know that if it happened to us, many of you would work hard to call us liars.
“Believe all women” was always an absurd overreach: woman should be heard, claims should be investigated, but evidence is required. The same is true of the allegations out of Israel. But also, this isn’t a “believe women” scenario bc no female victims have offered testimony.
