Mark, out of interest, how many times have you seen Gakpo play? Enough times to give us an assessment of how good he is? He looked average in the WC. If he was that good I’m not sure he’d be going for that price. Better to hold off, and get a proper number 9 in summer.

I see a lot of criticism towards Ashley Young. He’s not had a good run of games, but he’s been one of our most consistent players over the last few years, playing in an unnatural position(left & right back). He was once a winger. Always gives 100% too. More respect needed.

Although there is always expectation for United to win trophies, there is no expectation for United to win the league this season. That’s how Jose likes it, and how he has been so successful in the past (Porto, Inter, Chelsea). He has a plan and we need to stick by it.
