Sorry, Jim, that's self-serving propaganda. What the Greens care about is real action on housing, not just what the political duopoly wants to give: the mere appearance of action

What the Greens showed this week is they care more about retweets than renters, more about TikTok than housing stock. They had a chance to work with Labor to build more social & affordable homes or side with the Coalition of cookers & they chose the Coalition of cookers. #auspol

Business must be grateful to the media for the way they're beating up the prices-to-rise story. All the free advertising for firms to soften up their customers, exaggerate their cost increases, claim all other prices are rising & signal to competitors their intention to hike. 1/3

Best one: prices must rise because interest rates must rise because prices are rising. Gold Walkley to journo leading on unsubstantiated speculation price of cup of coffee "could" rise to $7 (up to double) because oil price rises affect delivery costs. Never let the facts ... 2/2

That table well demonstrates how little tax Woodside pays. Petroleum resource rent tax, zero. Naturally, like all foreign mining companies you count royalties as a tax, which would make sense only if you believe the nation should GIVE you our gas free of charge.

Steve, imagine if economics was as truly scientific as climate science is. The media is supposed to hold powerful interests to account. Learn not to take offence when they check up on you too.

Why are the ABC’s economics writers so enamored of attacking mainstream economics? It seems almost cult-like. Imagine if their environment writers spent every day attacking mainstream climate science. It’s unique among media outlets and seriously strange.

You don’t get it Stephen. Labor is waiting until the public demand that it does what it’s always wanted to do. Politics 201. Still, you are helping it get what it wants.

I am surprised the Labor Party doesn’t help the self confidence to sell the fact to the electorate that the Stage 3 tax cuts are unaffordable, reckless, unfair and economic vandalism and that things have changed since the election so they should be repealed. It’s an easy sell

I honestly don't understand why we have had nearly ten years of pretending that the Adani Carmichael mine is viable. Here's some really simple maths explaining why it just doesn't stand up financially: 1. Plan is for a 10m ton per year mine, rising to 20mtpa

It's you that's projecting. He hasn't yet revealed his actual intentions. Sensible people withhold judgement until intentions are revealed. What a pity it is that you don't seem to have a proper job that keeps you too busy to have time to unceasingly disparage others.
